In the 3D Modeling and 3D Animation class students learn how to construct virtual 3D models, apply textures, lighting and shading effects in a virtual environment.
For this year’s Multimedia Festival students created augmented reality animations and 3D objects. Many of these projects were featured in the 2014 Multimedia Festival with great success. The class utilizes a free application called Aurasma to bring the pictures and 3D models to life.
To see the animations incapsulated in the still image download the Aurasma application and point your smart device toward the image. Aurasma is available for the iphone, ipad in the app store and for android phones and tablets in the Google Play store.
