In MM-114: Textures for 3D, you learn the pipeline and techniques using industry software that will have you creating awesome digital art you didn’t think you could create! The instructor, Ty Carriere, has been teaching 3D texture and lighting for almost 20 years and has worked for NASA, Sega, and Intel to name a few companies. He was also a college Program Director of Game Art and Design for 10 years.
In this course, you will learn various texturing, lighting and industry techniques including modeling and UV mapping, skills that can be used for creating video games, movies, special effects, architectural visualization, and interior design.
MM-114 is a hybrid course with instructional videos online so you can review the instruction over again as often as is needed, and look ahead to preview future sessions if you’re advanced. The course meets once a week where the instructor gives one on one help, critiques and tips for getting into the industry. In-class meetings are Mondays, 12:00 – 3:30pm.
